Oh Mama Africa!
Oh Mama Africa!
Oh Africa! You who
Was the quintessence of
Divine and natural beauty
Oh Mama Africa! You
Who was the queen of
Human civilization and
Wisdom.

Africa, you who was
the home of Saint Augustine.
Africa, you who haboured
The divine savior “Christ” from
The wicked hands of Herod.
Yes, Africa, your beautiful
home of Egypt, was a safe haven
for Mary, Joseph and Jesus Christ.

Yes Africa! You saved
Jesus Christ from the blood-soaked
hands of King Herod
Africa, you were a home of peace and
Serenity.

Oh Africa! You who
had a pervasive sense
of ultimacy.
Oh Africa! You who
believed that the world
and the universe are ruled
not by blind forces, but by

Divine being – God.
Africa you who regards
and respects human life
as sacred, inviolable and
sacrosanct.

Oh Africa! Why do
you now bleed?
Africa why do you
bleed? Why? Why? Why?
Oh mama Africa! Why
do you know nothing but
persistent fratricidal warfare,
conflict and ethnic extermination?
Africa! Why is it that the south,
the west and central African
sub-regions are in perpetual
civil unrests?
Africa why is Nigeria, Burundi,
Rwanda, Congo-kinshaha, Congo-Brazaville,
Sierra Leone , Senegal,
Uganda and sudan engaged
in a brutal civil crises.
Oh Mama Africa why are the Fulani herdsmen turning into terrorists?

Africa is bleeding to death.
Who will save Africa from
her self inflicted crises?
God can only save Africa
when Africans decides to
embrace true love, social
justice, peace and
total solidarity as their
collective and individual
philosophy of life.

Africa must know the
truth and the truth shall
set her free.
